AN ACT
to repeal the Gold Trade Act.

Act 12 of 2015.
This Act may be cited as the Gold Trade (Repeal) Act.
In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires—
“Director” means the Director of Mines appointed under the Mines and Minerals Development Act; and
“repealed Act” means the Gold Trade Act.
(1) The Gold Trade Act, 1912, is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding sub-section (1), a person who, at the commencement of this Act, is a holder of a licence or permit issued under the repealed Act shall, within six months after such commencement, apply to the Director for a licence, except that the Director shall only grant a permit for the unexpired period for which it was granted under the repealed Act.
